I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since January 1990. My practice has taken me from KC Metro to Paducah, Kentucky and back again. My “style” has been described as “Deep Tissue Relaxation”. It is my personal belief that you can receive a Deep Tissue massage without inflicting pain on the body. Your body is smart. If it feels discomfort/pain then the muscles will tighten up to protect itself, rendering the massage somewhat “wasted”. There is a vast difference between relaxing the muscles and exhausting them from very concentrated deep work.

My dream of a full-service spa for all genders led me to expanding the services I provide. I entered Johnson Country Community College to study the art and science of Esthetics (skin care) and completed the program in May 2008. I became a Licensed Esthetician in August, 2008.

Wanting to share my knowledge, I returned to JCCC for their Instructor Training program. I graduated in Spring 2010. JCCC must have liked what they saw as I was hired as a part-time Adjunct Professor in the Fall of 2010.

My focus and passion in the field of esthetics is skin care for all types. I believe in meeting the client where his/her comfort level is located. It does no good to create a multi-step skin care regime when you barely wash your face in the morning. That said, it’s never too early or too late to start taking better care of your skin.
